Midweek...oh well...

Have I ever mentioned how much I loathe midweek? I think I must have said it like a gazillion times already…the day just crawls!

I did loads of lab work and invigilated a class and it’s only 11.30 am!!! God help me!

I can’t sit around doing nothing as there’s a very high tendency for my head to land on the tabletop….snoozing away what else….it’s not like I can help it but it just comes naturally….sit, get bored and sleep ensues…and it’s not a very nice sight when others come in and see me sleeping away…definitely not good for my reputation hehehe…

I’ve single-handedly completed like 75% of my work for this week and the following. I don’t know how I did it but I just switched to auto mode and did the work (so don’t point the finger saying I’m lazy and always sleep at work alright hehehe)…I have no idea why I like to rush when I’m on a job…guess I like to see things completed fast and cleared ASAP. I don’t like outstanding matters especially work-related. I can’t have my peaceful night sleep if I do have to ponder every now and then. My nights are devoted to handling other matters…be it personal or friendship related.

And fasting…it’s already about a week or so into the fasting month…I’m not hungry, neither am I thirsty but as you know, the eyes get very, very heavy during midday…empty stomach, dry throat, heavy eyelids, slurred speech, blurred mind, cloudy thoughts….all contributing to the sleeping pathway ZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZ….

I did my shopping already…bought two suits of baju kurung with sampings and brand new capals…nope, no songkok for me thank you…I even had money changed to smaller denominations last month hehehehe…kiasu you may say? Nah! It’s called early prep hehehe I don’t wish to queue up in snaking lines at the bank only to be told ‘sorry, we ran out of smaller notes’ at the counter. That’ll be so pissed and infuriating.

However, I still got many things to buy…mainly for the house…cakes, kuihs, drinks…must set aside budget for food to entertain guests…it all takes money!!! Ain’t no money, ain’t no survival people….sigh…cruel world…

The Prime Minister of Gek Poh Ville has finally come to a decision that our holiday destination at the end of the year would be to Bangkok. I’m going to try to scrimp a little now…save up a bit of loose cash to blow it on shopping in Bangkok…I’m rather the impulse buyer so watch out Chatuchak Market! No wait! The Prime Minister of Gek Poh Ville is a much avid shopper than I am…he needs a cargo container when he do go for shopping wakakakaka!~

Can someone like give me a rundown of the places to go in Bangkok or something? Places of interest, hotels, massage parlours, clubs, bars, shopping arcades, mode of transportation, food, good bargain places etc? hehehehe =p Hahahaha…so looking forward to holidaying with the boys…we’re so gonna paint the town pink! Err wait…think it should be red hehehe whatever ah…what’s most important, we’re gonna enjoy like no tomorrow! Yippee!!!~
