Yesterday was good...had a tiny cheap dinner at cineleisure foodcourt and drinks at i-dunno-the-name-of-the-cafe-at-2nd-floor-of-cineleisure with lulu, pea, murni, botak, janice, duck and xy...murni had a slight bout of depression...nah girl, u ain't fat...but certainly u r under loads of stress...ur pimple outbreak is unusually weird...as lulu said it's hormonal disorder to which i rebutted...it's hormonal imbalance...silly lulu!~
And yeap guess wat most of us ate?...we all had soupy stuff....me, duck & pea got yong tau foo, murni got hotpot fishball noodles, lulu had fish soup and xy had rice with fish soup....wat's up with tat u may say?....i'd say we're all getting older...n yes by tat, i really mean old...can u imagine we literally went from deep fried western food and oily stuff to healthier virtually oil-less food? Looking at our choice of food, i think we'll be meeting for morning porridge.....real soon!

We headed for that cafe...damn bloody ass i tell u...we all passed by tat place like a million times over n yet no one really bothers to take note of the name...i'll do it the next time i swear...service hmmm not up to expectations...a lil slow...understaff perhaps...juz 2 serving waitresses in attendance...i ordered butterscotch blast...a blend of ice and some butterscotch ice cream with milk...fattening u say? lol~ yea watever...i didnt get to eat the entire day so let's juz say it's my perogative to have my caloric binging hehehe...not too sweet but i prefer xy' classic malt milkshake anytime (wun u say 'malt' for me baby? hehehe =p love u)...it aint sweet...juz nice for me...yes yes i'm known for my tasteless buds...less salt less sugar...practically tasteless hehehe i always get commented by jut or baby...(baby: bom, aku nak milo...potong kaki eh! .....Aku: Anjeng kau!) which literally means i want my milo sweet...to the point it's a diabetical nightmare...the brownie murni ordered never came...dunno y they took so long to process the order...even the nachos and fries came like way much earlier...crap shit!~ no serviettes, not enuf cheese on our nachos, shitty salsa (too much vinegar), a puny serving of tartare for the fries...and yeap it sucks....
But thankfully, i was in good company...we talked, we laughed and we had so much fun....there's 8 of us yesterday...4 are married...yes we r singles...me, murni & pea...lulu's got darcy hehehehe all of a sudden, murni casually pointed out...6 of us have our own homes...as in we owned a residence...hahahaha and that got me thinking...yea man...we all have houses already...bills to pay....maintenance to upkeep and certainly mouths to feed...gosh!~ Time really flies!...it seems juz like yesterday when we were all in Singapore Polytechnic Macdonald's at foodcourt 2 sitting and joking n bullshitting n gossipping n bitching away...we'd talk abt our future....having high paying jobs, living the luxurious lifestyle, the girls marrying rich guys, becoming taitais, wearing expensive threads and having high teas and lunchings while spending away their husbands' money on the mahjong tables lol!~ the guys would have their own fantasies...i dunno wat's on their minds but i'm with the girls on the lavish lifestyle hehehe~ buying properties together, living under one roof with drivers and gardeners and maids and butlers and cooks...going on holidays....anywhere in the world as long as we're together...having fun under the sun, frolicking in the snow, rolling in mud and diving in sand dunes etc....opening our businesses...cafes and bakeries and i'm the appointed head of F&B...murni doing finance...the rest doing sales and marketting...ah!~ blissful silly fantasies of us 8 years ago!!!~ hehehe when we're all about sweet 17 at that time yeap....
And look at us now!~ 8 years later....25 and 26 year olds....where are we? still the same old silly crazy bunch...we all have jobs but not fantastically high paying hehehe n no we didnt have any of those maids n cooks n gardeners and certainly no exotic holiday destinations hahahhaa the farthest we went was Redang and tat was like ages ago...hehe no we didnt open any cafes or bakeries and i didnt get to helm any kitchens except in my own home... =p married with husbands and wives, families...yes we got ourselves HDB flats except for murni (lulu & pea are the only two who doesnt own any residence...yet...soon perhaps hehe) n now we all got ourselves wu liao thinkings...coming up with nonsensical ideas...lame ideas...and when we think back, it's juz so old urgh!~ and old we are...we all agreed on that...past memories took quite sometime to recollect...i even forgot who attended xy's wedding last december!~ murni forgotten names, lulu n pea...wu liao ideas...janice n botak...they both can babble whole nite away like aunties at the pasar...no kidding...we've all really moved along with time...we're like stuck with our own old beliefs n archaic thinkings...we frowned at youngsters hanging around outside cineleisure...we, ourselves, once did those kinda things...going orchard after lectures, wandering aimlessly, going window shoppings, giggling non-stop. For a start, we r not the paper chasing kinds...yes we grumble n yet we still sit around abt it hahaha tat's the fun part...what have we all achieved? a diploma each, a job each n many baggages that come with life...responsibilities and commitments....and really trust me on this one...i really love every single one of them...i swear my life on this...they're my sistas and girlfrens and erm boyfren of 8 years...we went thru so many thick and thin together...rough patches along the way but it's all worth it...we have a whole new level of respect for each other now =)
Juz the other day, baby, kiki n me had a short meetup under my void deck n we talked abt school of yesteryear...so much differences in juz 5 years..."BOM, U R SO OLD!~" hahahhaa thks baby for the reminder...he meant that when we compared our times in school of coz...yes we're not getting any younger sweetheart...u & i ....everyone else is growing older together... =)
So to end this, we are all definitely growing older people....and we're doing so together =) none of us is ever alone...
