With a pen in hand, I wrote this words...

Penned my thoughts down while waiting for a friend...

15 days to go before the year closes...what a year...lots of things took place in the course of 2008...

Personally for me, it's a year of growth. For the betterment of my future definitely All along it was at the back of my mind...laying dormant, awaiting the right time to surface. To be honest, I do love the labs but it had come to a point where I'm going nowhere...I got outstanding performance grade for 3 years consecutively, got praises and accolades. My dedication and hard work paid off in that sense and I was indeed happy and truly blessed.

So with a little nudging...ok, a lot actually...from the dearest bestie of course, I made a switch...It came rather swift...Some people did not take the news very well...some are all congratulatory with all the well-wishes...well, I left a legacy too big for anyone to fill in but I was pretty sure, things will be fine in my absence...or rather...nevermind about that...I've moved on to greener pastures...And so, 8th September was the formal date...a total 360 degrees change but I took it all in my stride and do my thing...did my best...passion drove me forward and I think I did fairly well for a beginner...

If God willing, I'll be entering NIE in July next year...for the next two years, I'll be hitting the books, reports and projects...This time round, I'm not going to take any chances...let nothing go to waste...at this age, wisdom shall not elude me...going to strive for the best...yes it is possible and I'm going to work for it...

A Diploma in Education will be the newest addition to my collection hopefully...nothing impressive but it does mean a lot to me...hopefully I will get to continue to Bachelor in Education...but that's a bit far fetched as I won't be paid salary for two years...practicality over idealistic thoughts...I have a family to feed and a house to finance...a big spin to my head...but I'm going to take things one at a time...we'll have to see how things go....for now, I'm just going to concentrate on imparting knowledge well...

This is also the year that saw many unexpected things happening...well to be fair, some were expected but not that soon...I shall not go into details of things that went awry..too many gossips, scandals and heartaches...but that does not mean the joy and sweet things did not take place...just somehow, the bad always lingers on for a much longer period of time than the good...sad to say...

Life...ain't no bed of roses...

However pleasing the ruby red petals are, roses come with thorns that pierce...
