The week is coming to a close with wednesday tmw...HOD sent out a mass email to the department...Fish head curry lunch buffet from Gayatri tmw at meeting room from 1230 to 1430 woohoo! And it's meant for me! Below is her email...
Dear all,
All of us are now aware that Firdaus will be leaving Peirce next week - for better things. We wish him all the best in his new role as teacher.
To thank him for his excellent Lab support, and to thank all Sc teachers for the great job you are doing in the dept, we will have lunch in school tomorrow (Wed). I have catered food from Gayatri's and there is Fish Head Curry!! etc.
So lunch will be at the Meeting Room from 12.30 to 2.30pm. Zul and the Lab assts will help me in the room - so pl feel free to start and I will join in at 1.10pm after my lesson.

Happy, sad, honoured...those were my feelings earlier....sigh...happy to start teaching, sad to leave the good people and students and honoured because hmmm just felt good la hahahaha
Anyway this friday will be the last major project I am undertaking...90% completed on my part....hopefully things will go smoothly...my planning will work just fine...I'm just so thankful I'm working with a very dedicated team...simply wonderful....
