Middle State of Balance

Beauty has the power to evoke admiration from us. It is just natural for us to admire those with beautiful faces and figures, often resulting in us wanting to be as attractive ourselves.

However, we must maintain a sense of proportion. Physical looks isn’t everything. In fact, very far from it. Research had shown that stunningly attractive people are not very much happier than the rest of us mere mortals. Therefore, it is unwise to invest excessive amount of time, money and effort in the pursuit of beauty. It is all a matter of balance, working towards the median. Which to say, it is suffice for daily survival.

We all have to face frightening situations in our life from time to time. If we allow the fear to overwhelm us and prevent us from acting decisively, then we are cowardly. But if we are oblivious to fear and behave recklessly, we are fools. However, between these two extremities, lies the value of courage. It is therefore a middle state in which we give fear some space but do not allow it to dictate our actions.

Now, how many of us are able to reach that middle state when we encounter conflicting situations in our life? Be it in our daily routine, be it in our love life, be it in our friendship etc.

It’s definitely something that doesn’t come with ease with the snap of our fingers or a clap of our hands. It requires some level of maturity in thinking and a clear conscience. Difficult but not impossible I think.

Do think about it and give it a shot….you’ll see….
