A simply fantastic weekend spent!~

Last friday evening, met Aee & Fairuz for marketing at Woodlands Sheng Shiong (Dun u juz love tat place honey? I noe I do!) Bought loads of stuff for Aee’s & Fareez’s birthday BBQ party the next evening...God it rained but hell no it didnt stop us from doing what we're supposed to do...got chickens, hotdogs, crabsticks, fishballs, salad ingredients and the other BBQ necessities...we've got like 7 to 8 huge plastic bags to haul! We did it anyway…got those stuff to Aee’s house, where we were treated to beef curry with french loaf…GOD! That was one of my favourite combo meal…I tried practicing being modest but thanks to PAK JUT, I didn’t manage to do so…he had a sore throat so he shoved his remnants to me (I gladly polished that off…thk u)…and again he refilled my bowl with more curry….and more curry…that bloody guy!~ Anyway I did manage to handle the matter hehehe =p…so now u ppl noe one of my weaknesses ya…shove me a bowl of curry and bread and I’ll turn into a slave hehehe =x

Next, we trudged to Asrie’s house to get the tent, water container and bottle…got soaked in the rain as we got off the wrong stop…*(%(%$($)(%$#^$@&…and to think his mum called me & Fairuz, BUDAK KECIK (small kids)!!! (-_-)”
Halo, Mdm!!!! we’re both like going 25 this year…we are not physically small lor…but I pardoned her la coz it’s like 9+ at night and it was raining very heavily so the view wasn’t that good hehehe I’d take it as a compliment hor hehehe

Saturday evening…weather wasn’t very promising…dark clouds loomed ahead…winds blowed furiously…slight drizzling here & there…I prayed for clearer weather of coz..thought I was late turning up at 6 but actually, I was the 1st to arrive at the pit zzzzz…luckily, Ikhwan, Hilmi, Rafiz & Zul came shortly after I did…ain’t too lonely hehe and surprisingly, the beach wasn’t crowded as what I expected…got a shelter with ease…it was there for us like it’s meant to be…thank God for that!~ then the rest came…

Total attendees – Aee, Fareez, Fairuz, Firdaus, Rafiz, Asrie, Khai, Ina, Ikhwan, Hilmi, Shahdan, Shahfardani, Anwar, Yan, Nassir, Syzwe, Zaid, Zul, WaWan, Ishak etc I can’t rem all their names…mak nyah pun ade kau!~ oops =x…

Tents were pitched, food and drinks laid out in style…got the fire burning…things were rolling fine…weather was kind enuf…didn’t rain…winds were nice & cold….so it was all perfect if I may say…cake arrived…banana chocolate from Secret Recipe…shared by me, Fairuz, Ina & Asrie…all was good, all was fine…I love the company, I love the atmosphere and most imptly, I love the food…Asrie & Rafiz will agree with me coz they both ate like non-stop zzzz…I ate too…I dunno how much but I think it’s a good big portion enuf to make me feel guilty…not to mention the cake gosh!~…guys, a confession here….i actually ate 3 huge slices of it! Hehehe but hey, Rafiz got all the banana while I handled all the cream…so which one is more sinful? Hmmm…

Got for Aee a small gift of a bracelet from Moshi Moshi….hope he liked it hehe and a top for Fareez…this one, I confirm noe he loved it coz he wore it like many times over hehehe Lil Bro, u noe I noe ah LoL *hush hush* then Shahfardani & Anwar came with like 5 tubs of Anderson ice-cream…ARGH!~ I had the danish nougat flavour…loved it but I wanted Asrie’s one…some dark chocolate chip flavour I think hmph!~ the joggers that jogged past our pit juz made me feel more guilty urgh!~
Played card games, gossiped thru the night, jokes exchanged thanks to Nassir’s crazy antics, laughed with no inhibitions…so all in all, it was a very sinful night of indulgence…pure joy and laughter… We huddled together like sardines in a can when we slept on the mats as it was really really freezing cold…had tents but only like Ina & Fairuz slept in it…

It’s nice to have such a function where all of us can gather and make merry…forget all the past sorrows and juz let it all hang out…=) I’m sure we’ll have more in the future but it ain’t gonna be easy and frequent…nevertheless, I’m confident we’ll have one more this year…when? I dunno…we’ll see ya! Hehehe

Sun afternoon, headed to tampines to my auntie’s house for open house….she’s treating the entire clan…she ordered briyani from geylang…ARGH!!!~ couldn’t resist the fluffy basmati rice….the chicken rendang (am I right?) was truly tasty…no skin but the flesh was slick and smooth and was dropping off the bones!~ I had like a full plate of briyani with half a chicken and 2 big pieces of mutton…and cucumber acar…oh gosh!!! Thinking of it now made me hungry sia! (hang on, I go find smth in the kitchen to munch…ok, back! Hehe I got some myself twisties hehe)

Ok ok ok…I noe someone’s gonna kill me if he noes I go into depression after my wkend of endless gorging but hehehe I didn’t...so sweetheart, rest assure =)……In fact, I wore a smile the entire weekend…coz y? I had a great one!
